Niall graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2016, having completed part of his legal studies through the Juris Doctor programme at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville, Kentucky. During his studies, he was awarded first place in Criminal Liability and second place in Intellectual Property.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2020 having graduated from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University Belfast before joining the litigation team at Macaulay & Ritchie. Since qualifying Niall has built a broad litigation practice, representing a broad range of clients in personal injury, insurance litigation, commercial litigation, and debt recovery. He acts for individuals, multinational companies and public sector organisations, providing commercially focused advice and robust representation across a wide range of disputes.
Niall plays an active role in the strategic development of the firm’s litigation practice and is committed to delivering practical solutions that protect his clients’ interests while achieving the most efficient and cost-effective outcomes. He understands that every dispute presents unique legal and commercial considerations, and he tailors his advice to the specific objectives of each client.
